Vayakel OR ""The Jewish Brothers Club"

Vayakel OR ""The Jewish Brothers Club"

As current events overflow with images of confusion, separation, and division, Moshe, our leader, calls us to unite. He charges us with the sacred duty of building a dwelling for our Father. Why does Moshe summon every one of the children of Israel, young and old alike? Because He needs each and every one of us.

There is no doubt that the Mishkan could have been built without the people's help, even without Moshe's intervention. Yet, that is not our reality. HaChem invites us to a hands-on session—to integrate the two pillars upon which the entire Torah rests.

Need I repeat that our union is essential for our protection? Hannukah,  Purim... you get it right ?

Another fundamental principle that animates the life of a Jew is our ability to carve out a place—a makom—for Hashem, so that He may dwell alongside us and become an integral part of our lives. This isn’t directly linked to our level of practice; rather, it reflects a state of consciousness—a bond that each one of us nurtures with our Father. That bond, much like the unconditional love between a father and his child, accepts no conditions. It is a cornerstone of our awareness: HaChem needs every single one of us. There is no exclusive club—every Jew is precious in His eyes.                                            Our people stand in stark opposition to individualism; our strength lies in unity.

Every Jewish brother is counted, for in our oneness we are truly Ehad.

Shabbat Shalom !

Mikhal
