The summit of my Emunah ...

 B"H

Our sages left us a message that has transcended time, now making its way to the front pages of today’s media:" Israel has recaptured Mount Hermon, the highest peak in the land of Israel".This mountain, like all the mountains mentioned in the Torah, is a sacred place of divine revelation. It is the source of all blessings, flowing down to nourish the land below. King David, King Solomon, and Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai (may their merit bless the Jewish people with a geula be rahamim) make very clear references to the symbolism of Mount Hermon at the moment of Israel’s geula.

What does this mean for me? How does this conquest resonate in my life?

Here, the words of Psalm 121 remind us of that summit, from where my help comes, never failing. This conquest is experienced each time we raise our gaze to attribute all our trials, triumphs, and defeats to Hashem. And even if that peak is hidden by clouds and our eyes struggle to see it, it does not disappear. It is there, forever, to protect us, and to nourish us with all blessings. Amen !
