An eternal spark of joy

Diminished Joy, but Never Absence

Our sages teach that “when Av enters, we diminish our joy”,  but we do not abandon it. We are a people of hope, of future, of divine promise. Even in mourning, we carry the spark of perfect joy,  the certainty that history is not random, that the world is moving toward Geulah, redemption. We are not a broken people. We are a people in waiting, preparing, refining, and rising.

There is a quiet inner joy that lives within the Jewish soul, even on Tisha B’Av: the knowledge that we are part of a story still unfolding, a sacred journey led by the King Mashiach. We carry that light in our daily lives, not with naiveté, but with deep faith.
